Fineline Studio has moved into its first permanent home, a small shopfront in Glyfada transformed into a combined office and workshop. The intention was never to create a showroom, but a space that reflects how the studio actually designs: testing, refining and making. At just 25 square metres, the fit-out is a built expression of the practice’s own philosophy—precise, restrained and shaped by constraint.

The plan is organised around a full-height material library that acts as a working wall, holding samples, fragments and mock-ups in constant rotation. Timber, stone, fabric and plaster sit side by side, compared in natural light and re-evaluated over time. The wall is not decorative; it is a tool.

The street-facing frontage keeps a direct relationship with the city, embracing the movement and sound of Glyfada while maintaining a quiet, focused working environment within.

As with the studio’s client work, targeted interventions improved the performance of the space: refined external shading reduces solar gain while preserving transparency, and the cooling systems were upgraded for efficiency, all within a modest budget. The studio is designed to evolve alongside the practice itself, and the door is open. If you are passing through Glyfada, come and say hello.
