About the project
Acropolis Residence combines two neighbouring apartments into one full-floor holiday home opposite the Acropolis. Rather than preserving the logic of two separate flats, the plan is redrawn at the scale of the whole building.
Internal boundaries are removed to create a continuous sequence of rooms across the floor, with perimeter balconies keeping the city present throughout. Existing timber floors, marble and terrazzo are retained and repaired, giving the new plan a material connection to what was already there. Four bedrooms balance privacy with generous shared kitchen and living spaces designed for groups. The result is hospitality accommodation that behaves more like a large Athens home than a collection of short-stay rooms.
