LXS Villas

About the project

LXS Villas is the interior design and furnishing of two neighbouring houses on Limnos, where the task was to give largely complete buildings a stronger sense of place.

Each villa has its own material character, TERRA and GREEN, but both are assembled from the same straightforward ingredients: wool and jute, woven textiles, handmade ceramics, marble, timber and pieces sourced from Greek makers. Antiques sit alongside new furniture, with durability as important as appearance. The work extends beyond selection to procurement, consolidation and installation on the island. The two interiors are deliberately different, but share the same approach: comfortable rooms, useful objects and enough restraint to leave space for the landscape outside.
