About the project
Kallithea Offices begins with the most repeated, and usually most overlooked, rooms in the building. The WC cores become the first part of a wider refurbishment, using a small footprint to establish an identity that can carry across both offices.
The existing layouts are simplified to improve circulation and privacy, with full-height partitions, concealed storage, reeded glass and continuous mirrors making the rooms feel more generous than their size suggests. A different colour is assigned to each floor, turning repetition into a useful wayfinding device. The result is a robust kit of parts that can be rolled out gradually, giving the buildings greater coherence without requiring everything to change at once.
