About
Fineline is an architecture and design studio working between Athens and London. The practice focuses on residential, hospitality, and small cultural projects, with a particular focus on existing buildings.
Our work is guided by a belief in light but decisive intervention. Rather than replacing what already exists, we aim to carefully adapt, repair, and reinterpret buildings so they continue to evolve over time. Each project begins with a close reading of its context. Local Materials, proportion, and light shape the architecture, alongside a commitment to spatial clarity and durable detail. The work is contemporary in expression but grounded in place.
Fineline Studio was founded by architect Nefeli Eforakopoulou, a UK- and Greece-registered architect working between Athens and London. The studio builds on over a decade of experience delivering projects across both countries, combining international practice with a strong understanding of the Greek architectural context.
Before establishing Fineline, Nefeli spent nearly ten years working in London on complex urban and hospitality projects, developing an approach grounded in careful design development, technical clarity, and collaboration across disciplines. This experience now informs the studio’s work at a smaller and more focused scale.
Today Fineline works primarily on residential and hospitality projects, with a particular interest in adaptive reuse and low-carbon design. The practice focuses on working with existing buildings through precise and thoughtful interventions that extend their life and reveal their inherent character.
The aim is simple: architecture that feels calm, precise, and rooted in its surroundings.
