Porto Hydra Villa, Argolis

A series of three compact bathroom refurbishments within a holiday home on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese, overlooking Hydra island.

Part of a wider programme of light-touch interventions, the project focuses on enhancing everyday use through considered spatial planning and a restrained material palette. Existing fittings were selectively retained, while new sanitaryware and joinery were introduced to bring consistency and clarity across all three rooms.

Continuous plaster finishes and built-in elements create a calm and cohesive backdrop. Each room is resolved with durable, modest materials that support the rhythms of seasonal living, while reinforcing the character of the original house.

The works form part of a broader strategy to extend the life of the home through careful upgrades, quietly adding comfort and functionality without unnecessary complexity.
